Caballeros Alumni Unveil New Color Guard Uniform
2008 Color Guard PrototypeAt a recent practice the corps was presented with a prototype of the new uniform the flag and rifle lines will be wearing starting the 2008 season.  While still keeping the traditional look and color scheme of the original uniform, the new uniform will be more tailored to compliment the female form, something the original uniform was never intended to do.  The standard sombrero and white uniform blouse will remain, with the addition of a black bolero with silver trim and black gauchos.

The corps is very excited about the upcoming season as it looks to top the power-packed show of last year.  There are still positions available in both the flag line as well as the newly developed rifle line.  So, if you've been getting the urge to get back on the field and relive some great memories, there's no time like the present to make it happen.

The corps' next rehearsal for all sections is Sunday April 6th from 10am to 5pm at American Legion Post 199 in Hawthorne.  Come down and join the excitement!

On October 6th, 2001 the Alumni Corps participated in "A Salute to America", a musical tribute to American heroes in Beltsville, MD.

Thanks to a member of the competing corps, there is a website containing not only information about this event, but a online video web cast of the Alumni Corps performance!  You need the RealPlayer to view this video and below are 3 links.  One to get the player, the second to read about the show, and the third is a direct link to the video of the Cabs Alumni Corps.  Enjoy!

Welcome!
Welcome to the totally new Caballeros Alumni Corps website!  Since the competing corps switched it's ISP provider last year, the competing corps site underwent a major rewrite.  Now that there is much more room on our server we have the ability to host the Alumni Corps site as well.

So here it is!  If you have any questions regarding the website please feel free to contact me your webmaster.  Also if anyone has pictures of the Alumni Corps they want to scan and see in the photo gallery (once I create it) please email them to me.  I have some pictures, but definitely not as much as I'm sure you would like.
