Caballeros Camp Details - May 10th
Full Corps Rehearsal - Saturday Only!
The Hawthorne Caballeros will host our next Camp and drill rehearsal for the 2008 season on
Saturday, May 10th.  Brass, Percussion and Guard will rehearse in Hawthorne, NJ at Goffle Brook Park on Goffle Road.  Rehearsal times for Saturday, May 10th are from 9am until 9pm.

Happy Mothers Day!  To all our mom's in the corps, the mother's of our corps members, mother's all over the world and in memory of mother's who are no longer with us.  We appreciate all you do and have done for us.  Enjoy your very special day, enjoy every day.  Thanks!

Just a Few Brass Spots Left!  We also have a few spots left in the hornline.  2008 will continue the excitement of he Hawthorne Caballeros.  If you are still looking for a place to march, this is the weekend to check us out.

2008 is an exciting year to join the Caballeros, so if you are looking for a place to march, members are welcome in all areas.  The 2008 program is both exciting to experience and perform.  Join us as we continue to prepare the repertoire for our 2008 program - Sketches of Spain.  Members have a chance to learn and be taught by a world class staff of musicians and teachers including Dennis DeLucia as our show advisor and Dennis Argul, Gary Gill, James Riley, AJ Kise, and Eric Robertshaw.  There is still time to join so we hope to see you this weekend.

Where were you on the night of April 26th?
If you were at the 62nd Reunion of the Hawthorne Caballeros you were having a great time, as only Drum Corps folks can.  What did you miss?

  • A chance to talk to drum corps legends and drum majors like Ralph Silverbrand, Chuck Bishop, and Jimmy Russo.
  • Revisit the infamous Trophy case with 62 years of awards and memories.

Who are the Cabs?
The Hawthorne Caballeros, sponsored by American Legion Post #199 in Hawthorne, are in their 62nd season of competition and have amassed a remarkable host of records.

Click Me to hear the Bull CallThey have won the DCA World Championship 9 times, the American Legion National Title 16 times, the National Dream Contest 17 times, and the New Jersey State American Legion Title 43 times. They have completed 5 undefeated seasons, consecutively in 1984 and 1985. They have placed in the top 3 placements at the DCA World Championship 31 times in 42 appearances, a clear indicator of the Caballeros consistency for excellence on the drum corps field. In 1989, during DCA's 25th Anniversary season, fans voted the Caballeros their favorite Senior Drum and Bugle Corps of all time.
